How to: Hide (remove) map features from a data map.
Solution:
Activate the data map, select 'Features...' from the 'Map' menu, and clear the check boxes for the features to hide (remove) in the 'Map Features' dialog box.
1) Double-click on the map to activate it. (The Data Map menu bar appears.)
2) Select the 'Map' menu and select 'Features...'. (The Map Features dialog box appears.)
3) Clear the check boxes for the features to hide or remove.
NOTE: Map features include major cities, highways, great lakes, and so on.
4) Click 'OK'.
